Exhibitions - exib Logo

In 2005 we began an exhibition program, which consists of taking the photos we´ve collected in various countries and adding the stories that go with them. Some of our exhibitions are based on countries, others by theme (such as school days; at home; on the town).

You can view these exhibitions by clicking on the links below, and should you wish to bring one of these exhibitions to your school, community center or library, be in touch with us. We'll send you a CD with high resolution scans on it; all you have to do is take it to a high quality digital printer in your city.

For information on exhibitions, contact Zhenia Gretschko at simcha@centropa.org

If you are interested in creating online exhibitions with your students, asking them to add pictures and stories of their own, we will provide you with templates and user's guides. Contact office@centropa.org

Soviet Soldiers Exhibition
The Sephardic exhibition

Soviet soldiers exhibition

An exhibition with two themes. First is a section highlighting the personal stories and pictures of Soviet Jewish soldiers who fought on the front line. Then we add a section of posters highlighting the pictures and stories of Jews who fled to Siberia and Central Asia during the war. We also include four panels of introductory text.

The Sephardic exhibition
An exhibition created for the OSCE Conference on Anti-Semitism in Cordoba, Spain, in May 2005. This exhibition, which is in both Spanish and English, consists of pictures and stories taken from our interviews made in Turkey, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Croatia, plus two panels of explanatory text.

Czech Stories
An exhibition of 15 posters culled from our interviews made with elderly Jews living in Prague. This exhibition is divided into themes and all posters are in English and Czech. More to be added soon.
