His eldest son, Mihaly Neufeld, born in 1887, was a lawyer, but he didn't take the oath for Romanian law in 1918 [when Transylvania came under Romanian rule [2]] He rather accepted the position as director of a small Romanian-Belgian fabric plant, interrupting his career as a lawyer.
