Das ist Papa Chardonneaux. Er arbeitete im Bürgermeisteramt und besorgte uns Aufenthaltsbewilligungen. Meine Eltern lernten in Cap d' Ail [Frankreich] Papa Chardonneaux kennen. Er half uns die ganzen Jahre unserer Emigrationszeit in Frankreich. Als unser Geld zur Neige ging und meine Mutter sehr verzweifelt war, hatten wir durch seine großzügige Hilfe wieder ein Auskommen. Später nahm er uns in seinem Haus auf und borgte uns Geld für eine vernünftige Mietwohnung in Nizza. Er hatte Söhne und hätte mich sehr gern zur Schwiegertochter gehabt.
