The Holocaust in Ukraine: a Graphic Novel

Based on the Centropa film ‘Return to Rivne: A Holocaust Story‘, the artist Julia Antonova has created a graphic novel, available here in English, German, Polish, Romanian and Ukrainian. English and Ukrainian copies are also available in paperback.

The story revolves around two Jewish girls, Shelly and Raya, from the town of Rivne, then Równe, who survived the horrors of World War II.

Anna Lanota -- A Jewish Partisan in Poland

Anna Rottenberg was born into a wealthy and observant home in Lodz, then studied psychology in Warsaw with the legendary Janusz Korczak. When war came, Anna fled to Lwow, but when she heard her family had been taken to the Warsaw Ghetto, she was determined to try and help.
