Wando High School

Wando High School is located in Mount Pleasant, a suburb of Charleston, SC.  It has an enrollment of 3, 700 students.  Wando serves students in grades 9-12 with a comprehensive academic program offering more than 250 courses.  The student population is 83% White, 12% African American, 3% Hispanic, and 2% other.  It is known for its academics, fine arts, and athletic programs.  The graduating class of 2013 had more than 93% of them attending a two or four year college/university or technical college.   The Marching Band has won its 8th consecutive State Championship and all 22 vasity sports teams qualified for the playoffs.  It is a large school with a place and opportunity for everyone!
