Ravensbrück Reader

The Ravensbrück concentration camp was built in 1939 near Fürstenberg, Germany: it became the largest women’s concentration camp in the German Reich and the second-largest in size after Auschwitz-Birkenau. After its inauguration, the camp was constantly expanded to accommodate more and more prisoners.

This reader relays 17 women's personal experiences at the concentration camp from the Centropa archive.
