In 1968, I quit my job because the whole anti-Semitic campaign had started and it wasn’t a nice place to be at the time. Besides, my husband believed I should quit, no one had been forced to quit, if there were any other Jews there, they stayed, but as long as I was there, it was awkward. Especially that my husband worked in an executive position, so that wasn’t very good. I was trying to find a job for some time, but I saw strong reluctance against hiring Jews.
