My mother’s parents came from Tomashpol. My grandfather Shymshn Treistman was born in 1860s. My grandmother Zelda Treistman – I don’t know her maiden’s name – was born in 1870s. My grandfather was short and thin. He didn’t have payes, but he had a short gray beard. My grandfather went to synagogue on Sabbath and Jewish holidays.
