In 1944 mass re-evacuation began. Almost all evacuated people left Novosibirsk before the summer. My mother said we had to go home to Movilev- Podolsk. Our trip home was safe. Our house had been destroyed. My father decided to go to Chernovtsy, where my mother's brother Velvl, lived.
