Gabor Paneth's cousin, Dezso Szabo

This is Dezso Szabo, a grandson of my father's grandmother's brother. The family name was magyarized from Scher to Szabo, but I do not know which generation made this change. Dezso had a brother, Bela, who was drafted, during the war, into forced labor and taken to Bor, but he survived. In 1956 Bela left Hungary and went to Marseille and shortly after to America. He founded a family there and died there. Dezso was an actor and played at the Hungarian Jewish Cultural Association. I often saw him on stage there.
