This is my father's first wife, Margit Erdos. He met her in Liptoszentmiklos where he taught in an elementary school. She was a beautiful woman, the daughter of an atheist social democrat. They married in 1910 and moved to Budapest. My father started to become more and more secular because of bad experiences he had had with the Jewish community while in Liptoszentmiklos.
Margit and my father never had any children because she had chronic heart problems. She died in 1924 and my father married my mother a year later.
